Upon graduating, Spades secured a position at a boutique PR firm, where she would spend the next several years honing her skills in media relations, crisis management, and strategic planning.

In 2019, driven by her passion for storytelling and a desire to create meaningful connections for her clients, Spades founded her own PR agency, PICKCommunications.
